random thought

i was just looking through the most popular pictures, and in no way am i pointing fingers, since i use it too...
just thinking its kinda odd that so many of these great pictures have some photoshop in them...
im thinking we need to reconsider how we label these, most of this isnt really "photography" so much as "photo-manipulation"

i wonna see the top deviations in photography being ones that have no photoshop at all and are still amazing,
cuz thats when you know you've got telent, when everyone loves it and it was purely you having the correct exposure, angle, lighting, etc.

I really like the underwater pictures you just posted. It's something I don't see on DA very often...probably because few of the artists I watch have a SCUBA license...:) The only underwater pictures I have are through the glass at the Kaiyukan Aquarium in Osaka...not quite as exciting as being in the water with the wrecks and fish.
